These photos are all about how I think about Helsinki. Clean with lots of parks, they love their statues and their bikes. Everyone seems to be out getting fit and enjoying themselves.
I think I'm starting to get a bit of the lingo. Definitely need to know the name for coffee - Kavhia and thankyou is kiitos (key-toss). The Finnish language is so different than the Scandinavian languages so I'm pleased to see the signs everywhere have Swedish underneath the Fin name. I'm by no means fluent but I recognise certain terms from other trips to Scandinavia.Read more
