Simply stunning. The organ pipes playing were a beautiful touch. Every half hour the bell tolled all over town.
It has a rough history being burnt down several times, laid to waste by Danish pirates, bombed in WW2. The oldest part of the greystone dates back to the late 13th century and has had many renovations and additions over the centuries. It became a cathedral in 1723
Services are held on Sundays and church holidays at 10am in Finnish and at 12 pm in Swedish
