    Blue Lagoon

    September 8, 2017 in Iceland ⋅ ⛅ 10 °C

Meeting and powerpoint presentation with the PR bloke of the Farmers Association of Iceland. Very interesting actually.
Sight seeing tour of Reykjavik (translated as "Smokey Bay"). Today is a lovely sunny day so great for sightseeing and taking photos.
After lunch we go to Blue Lagoon, a geothermally heated pool complex. Nice and warm, very salty and the silica makes your hair thick and scratchy for days.
Farewell dinner at a restaurant in town that used to be a Danish Mill.
An hour after bed I look out the window and see the Northern Lights - Aurora Borealis!!
