    Prague to Cesky Krumlov

    Train from Prague to Cesky Krumlov via Ceske Budejovice, the home of Budweiser beer.

    Lovely ride, hot. Beautiful town, with a small river running through it. After we settle in we jump in the river to cool off. It looked brown and off-putting but there's lots of fish in it and is actually quite clean. locals are swimming too.
    We have an organised walking tour of the town which includes the castle which gives a good aerial view of the pretty town.
    On the way back to the hotel we call into a restaurant for a beer and I have a pork knuckle for tea.    Read more
