A 10 km on walk early this morning before it got hot.
It was nearly a 2 K walk to get to the start point.
Then I followed the green route, the Urpin loop, to get back to the start point. Was very pretty and shady. The promised view of BB didn't really happen, you catch glimpses between trees. Was good.
The digital map I was using was great until the last bit when it took me through a little used track that took me to a street. It then wanted to take me back into the forest on a wee track so I decided I'd quit that and then use Google maps to get me back to town. I still did a loop and ended up at the starting point anyway.
It was starting to get hot again so I made for the Slovak Uprising Museum for a bit of air conditioning but it's closed on Mondays!!Read more
