Train to Zilina

The home of our Island Slovaks, Andrea and Martin. Steve says Martin is actually here..... Maybe I'll bump to him.

Hot again. Get into Zilina around 2.30. get to accommodation - no air conditioning or bath so I have a cool shower. But I do have a kettle 👏👏.
At least their thick walls and windows, that is supposed to keep out the cold, also keeps out the heat a bit.

I wait until a bit later to go out again.

I walk to and explore the small old town square, it's very pretty. I keep walking and find the mainstream town centre.
I walk back to the old square and find some tea. A yummy chicken dish.

I'm in Zilina listening to ACDC at the restaurant. I wonder if they even know that's an Australian song and they have an Australian sitting there.Leggi altro
