Walkabout Ulaanbataa

We had a leisurely morning then headed out to the must-see Narantuul Market. It's a 5.3 km hike there. On the way we call into other places to look at also.
We start alj through a lovely park that is also a family-friendly amusement park.

We get to the market about 2-ish. We haven't had lunch yet so find a food court in a nearby small shopping centre and we all have a lovely soup.

We're then ready to find the rest of the market. It is indeed big but not as busy or chaotic as we were led to believe.
Hike back again.
We've covered 15 km today. It feels like it.
A bit knackered so we go back to the upstairs restaurant " The Godfather" and have a lovely meal.Read more
