Went to a shopping mall to get to a hot canal cruise up the Creek. Very hot to be outside today but we gotta do it.
Home for a swim and sleep.
Out again for Lights of Dubai bus trip.

  • Tea in the rainforest

    22 Ağustos 2019, Birleşik Arap Emirlikleri ⋅ 🌙 35 °C

After our bus trip we had tea at the Rainforest Cafe, 25% off because we went to the Aquarium last night.
It was so wacky it was great. Kids would love it, the animals moved every 10-15 minutes.
You could also see bits of the aquarium and fish swimming past. Lovely.
    Food was great too.

  • Travel tips

    25 Ağustos 2019, Avustralya ⋅ ☀️ 9 °C

Travel kettle and unbreakable mug, gathering all the tea/sugar/coffee along the way.

Mini first aid kit, medicine stash

    External battery charger for phone.

Don't need computer if you have a smartphone. But it should be unlocked so you can use a travel sim.

Use the free Wi-Fi in hotels, bus/trains, cafes.

Take a charging cord on the train/bus as they usually have USB ports or plug holes.

    Sense of humour and patience.

    Translator app is handy.

Don't need a camera with good smartphone unless you're into photography and like a manual camera.

A bit of change in their currency in case you need the toilet!!

You never need as many clothes or toiletries as you pack!

Luggage with wheels 👍👍 and a small backpack.

Use Hop on, hop off or tourist bus when you first get into town as they give you a good overview and English headset commentary.
