I spent the morning in Invercargill exploring a bit. My impression - it's a sad, old dirty peeling city in need of a major facelift. Many empty shops too. Or at least city centre was.

We found Invercargill a bit weird too, had a great burger there though! Catlins was lovely, and Mick and I do love Dunedin :) Got great tapas style food at Vault 21!
