Hinderwell

Stayed here for three nights so we could do some walking on the Cleveland Way coastal section.
Nice walk when we arrived through woods and down to Staithes - lovely fishing village and old harbour.
The following day walked the section to Whitby through Runswick Bay, Kettleness and Sandsend - all places from our youth. Decided not to descend the path to Port Mulgrave. Whitby as busy and as beautiful as ever.
Sea fret and daily high temperature of 11 deg. Walked northerly past Staithes and Boulby Mine to high point on cliffs - could not see the sea.
Beginning to review our plans to go to Harrogate for few days next week. Our intention is to follow the sun and there is a distinct lack of it here. Czytaj więcej
