North Baddesley

We enjoyed meeting with two sets of friends on Wednesday.
In the morning Joan and Chris joined us for a socially distanced external chat in the sunshine. When the clouds came over it got quite chilly, which required A to don hat and coat, nevertheless we enjoyed catching up and the home made yogurt cake provided by Joan proved to be a triumph.
In the afternoon we cycled into Chandlers Ford to get some reading matter from the library after which we journeyed on to have a socially distanced chat with Marion and Alan in their garage. Again it was great to catch up with the family news and get another sugar rush from the brownies.
On Thursday we cycled to Hillier Arboretum to meet with Syd and Jo, who kindly signed us in to join them for a wander amid the trees and gardens. The autumn colours are quickly coming in with some of the gardens very colourful. The car park was very busy but the gardens large enough to allow social distancing. A very pleasant morning.Read more
