We woke up to perfect conditions for a walk up the mountain, so fortified ourselves with a hearty breakfast.
Setting off at 9:30 from our site we arrived at the start of the path at 9:45 and started our ascent. Three hours later we arrived at the summit after a steady climb along a well marked path which runs along the same general route of the famous railway.
