Short walk to Ponferada

Today was a very short walk only about 8 km. I wore my poncho because it was misting, never rained real hard.

I have a hotel room to myself, it’s not in the best part of town, so I don’t think I will see any pilgrims around at dinner. All my friends have moved ahead for now. Maybe I’ll catch up with them tomorrow.Read more
TravelerI'm always impressed with how clean the towns and villages are in Europe. Not sure how they manage it, but it seems to be the norm:)
