But pretty!Big city of Saria in the distanceFirst stop - 2nd breakfast in SariaUnnecessary hill but had to go though SariaTour company had lunch ready for their group. Looks nice.Typical view of the crowd. Sunday leaving Saria 9am. More at the bar/cafesHard to see, but there were several spouts of water coming out of the rock retaining wall.Happy cows.Santiago cake! It's healthy, since it's made with almond flour 😆View from my room - back of Casa MorgadeTiny "ermita" next to Casa Morgade2nd tuna empanada of the day. Through Saria

    May 18 in Spain ⋅ ⛅ 19 °C

Saria is where most people start the Camino Frances. I had heard things would really change here as it get much more crowded. That was very true! My unscientific analysis is there are 20 times (!) more people on the trail now, starting in Saria. I can base this on seeing 20x more people, often, than what I would see previously. Each major city has increased the numbers, but nothing like Saria.

Here are some pics of walking from Pintin down into Saria and towards my stopping point, Morgade.
