Australia Zoo

Josh and I were at the Australia Zoo 11 years ago, we were traveling with Ger and Ed up to Fraser Island. That trip I found out I was pregnant with Brandon… and here we are again with two in tow.

The Australia Zoo is great and they have big enclosures, and the animals look well taken care of. Many are there from being rescued and the zoo also has breeding programs.

The day was a hard day and each kid had its own agenda. Today was tiring and I am not sure if it was even fun, but it was worth doing for sure. Hopefully the kids only remember the fun parts, like touching the koala and feeding the kangaroos.

Brandon’s highlight was feeding the kangaroos and touching George the snake (very smooth), while Inara said she liked it all. Her name does mean goddess of the wild animals.

After the zoo we headed back south 2 hours, to Surfers paradise to our friends parents apartment where we will stay for the next three nights.
