    Dinner with the Kesting's

    We arrived and went straight to Mirelle, my best friend's house. After chatting for a while we took a nap.

    Then we went for a drive and i showed Tom my old house, elementary and high school. I showed him the former house my mother grew up in and then had a drink at Brooklyn mall.

    We head to Harlequin's and met my mother's brother, Philip and his wife, 2 kids and one of their husbands.    Leer más

    Sun City

    Mirelle, Koman, Tom and I drove to Sun City. We had a drink in the Cascades hotel as we waited for my step brother James and his girlfriend, Louise.

    We head into the Lost City and found a adult only pool area. We had a lovely time catching up, eating and drinking.

    We packed up and went to the water slides and acted like kids. Finally we walked up to the Lost City hotel to check that out.    Leer más

    Off to the other Kestings

    Then we head to Johannesburg to visit my mother's other brother, Ruud and his wife, Ros at my cousin, Bernadette's house. They were babysitting her kids Blake and Lark. Such cute kids, 2 and 1 years old. Bernadette and her husband, Leedham came home after a long weekend away shortly after we arrived and we had a great evening. This group of my family has been a big part of my life and it was so nice to spend time with them.Leer más

    Hluhluwe Game Reserve

    This morning we decided to get up before sunrise to go for a drive. We left at 5am and head to the hide. Had some coffee but didn't see anything on the way there or there. We head further south and finally saw 2 elephant regally pitched on top a hill. We carried on to a lookout and found another elephant annihilating a tree.Leer más
