• Cobden Bridge, Greymouth – Our Latest St

    Jul 30–Aug 2 in New Zealand ⋅ ☁️ 12 °C

We’ve just spent a few nights at the Cobden Bridge freedom camping area in Greymouth. You’re allowed to stay up to two nights here in a self-contained vehicle, but we stayed an extra night, making it three in total, as Paul wasn't feeling the best. He’s much better now, thankfully.

It’s a free spot with rubbish bins, a dump station, and drinking water available. Designated parking is at the end of the area. Even though it’s close to the road, we found it reasonably quiet. Being winter, it wasn’t busy—just a couple of others around during our stay.

    And the sunsets? Absolutely lovely!
