• Tairua freedom

We’ve just spent two beautiful, blissful nights at the Tairua freedom camping spot, based at the dump station.
The first night was really busy — at least 11 campers there — and we were the only caravan (nothing unusual there!). The second night was reasonably packed as well. It’s so good to see people getting out there and, even better, respecting these areas. I’m sure a few of our followers who’ve stayed here will say the same.
There’s a rubbish bin and dump station on site, which makes it super convenient — especially for the bigger vehicles. Net speed works perfectly there too, which is always a bonus when you’re living on the road.
It was also great to use our Ezi-jack — such an easy piece of equipment to use and perfect for caravans. Makes those little jobs quick and stress-free.
Maggie enjoyed her time there as well, soaking it all in like she always does 🐾
