    So we checked out the freedom at South end reserves, it was full of locals parked up nose or tail facing the sea, a motorhome pulled in just ahead of us and set up so we parked next to them, we were between the posts but out from them. Heaps of small vans arrived parked same way. Was not till 5pm a lical informed us we would all get fines when the inspector came at 7am, so the moho just had room to move , then all the small vans, there was not room for our big rig by this time so made the call to move. We rung John from the pop just up the road and went there, another new member then arrived just behind us due to all the small vans pushing in.

    Lovely spot in front of a batch. 4 houses from the beach ( freedom spot). Toilets and rubbish bins down the beach. So peaseful here with water onsite. There are a couple of walking tracks at the beach also.     Czytaj więcej

    Waihi beach, Pohutukawa Park

    What a stunning beach, crazy busy during the day, but peaseful as at night. Toilets, pleanty of rubbish bins. They also have buckets if you feel like cleaning the beach, how cool is that.
    Max 3 nights stay here, wireless nation and spark work well.
    Coffee shop open till midday, dary with takeaways right there also. The fish and chips are the best we have had in a long time.     Czytaj więcej

    Rotorua nzmca park

    10 days parked up at the Rotorua nzmca park. Time flew, had family visit, the hot pools are always great for the body. We meet up with the Kiwi Wanderers for a drink and chat. As we do metal detecting we hung around for a seeded hunt, it was well run and we would go again, there were a lot of great finds, we done ok with a pre ww1 morter round, no the ring is fake.     Prickles, prickles, prickles, keep footwear on outside.
    Lovely spot, river just behind the fence. The odd motorbike racing around the town, neighbouring dogs not to bad with barking. Nice motu bike track at the end of the street, goes through the sand dunes over a lovely bridge with sea views from time to time. Nice little vege garden, well looked after.     Omaio freedom

    Omaio, what a stunning spot, pitty council havent mowed the grass at the freedom spot for sometime, ( over knee hight,)but still was nice to have the place to our selves. Amazing little bay down a dirt, root and rock track with the odd natural handle to hold on to. Pack in pack out. Wireless nation and spark cell work good. Clouds came in over the hills.     Te Kaha freedom camp

    STUNNING stunning stunning, this really is a beautiful part of our country. Not 1 but 2 beauitful bays for fishing, swimming.park up along the old white fence next to the road. No road noise at night. Toilets , but you must pack in pack out. Wireless nation and spark work well here. Nice to watch the boats come and go throught out the day. The weather has been just as good as this spot. As we drone fish we found a good spot to send the drone out. .
    Locals are friendly we even had a local welcome us.

    Anaura bay doc campsite

    Just 8kms in from the main road sits this beatiful doc camp, you might need first gear to get up the hill but once at the top, what you see is a beatiful white sand beach that streachers along the coast line, farm animals romming free, the road is sealed all the way. You can use your doc pass here or they have a nightly fee. There are 2 tanks on site to empty your cassette into but be warned it stinks so dont breath 😁. Water onsite but not for drinking. There is so much space here,but booking is best. So peaseful fishing is ok . Wireless nation works good spark is patchy. Czytaj więcej

    Oraka Reserve freedom parking

    Very nice, peaseful stay. Parking is just to the left as you drive in, there are small signs on the posts showing you where to park.new flush loos, rubbish bin onsite. Nice lagoon to swim in and not to deep at low tide, it seems to be the local pippy stop. Bit of a walk around at low tide to the rivermouth. Thursday night was packed out with some parking outside of the freedom area. Other nights only 4 of us. This is a 3 night max but due to really bad weather we stayed 1 extra night.     Napier nzmca park

    Parked up for 10 nights for xmas, very quite even parked up along the track in. Dump station 5 mins up the road. Water on site, nice wee vege garden. Large member shed and across from that a small sign in shed. Golf a ross the road for those that enjoy to chase a little white ball around 😁. This park is so big a dog park would go well there.     Clifton Road Reserve

    What a huge space to freedom camp, selfcontained only.
    Clean flush toilets on site.
    Turns out fish werent hungary, apart from a egale ray and baby gray shark, both were released. Our neighbours tried with there long line they only got a baby gray shark. There is a shop just down the road also a nice cafe up the road abit. Now this spot is right next to the road but so peaseful.
    Was a great place to spend New Years eve. Only thing was the big rats running round, ive emailed council.     Czytaj więcej

    Ngawi camping area

    If the weather was better this would be a beatiful spot. Loo drop loos onsite along with rubbish bins. Due to the bad weather we didnt get to watch the comeings and goings of the fishing boats. A short drive up the road to the cape palliser lighthouse, we were told it was some 240 steap steps to the top. We decided to move back down the road abit and found a lovely spot to park up and fly our lines out from next to our van. Paul got us a feed, I let the team down this time 🙂.
