• Nusa Penida is beautiful

    October 31, 2022 in Indonesia ⋅ ⛅ 26 °C

After I arrived with Oli in Nusa, we watched the sunset in the evening. In the next morning we woke up early to explore the Kelingking Beach.

(Nusa is known for its many day-tourists and for the cliffs and landscapes and not so for swimming in beaches)

We haven't seen a lot of the day-tourists there, because we were there early. Not a lot of people went down to the beach, the most only take Instagram photos, but for sure we did!

I went into the water, but the waves were heavy. I was quite often taken away from broken waves. They had really much power and to get in touch, that I had no control over my body was an experience worth. Unfortunately my older swimming trunk was damaged there😂

After that we (I) decided to go to a natural swimming pool, where the way to that was very hard to drive😂. Well, we survived😂

After that we wanted to go to the Broken Beach (tourist attraction) and luckily when we arrived, all day- tourists went away from that spot😂

On the way to the broken Beach we went to the Billabong Beach, where we got another experience of how much power the water has (water on cliffs).

At the broken beach I was able to see 7-8 mantas, 7-10 defins(and jumping outside of the water 😍) as well as one turtle. So cool & all at one spot!

In summary it was a hard, exhausting but a fucking amazing day with Oli.

p.s. I recognize that I treat me right with the food here. After arriving in Bali I haven't eaten a lot of local food 😂.
