Day 2 to Marinhas

Day 2 was great! We nursed our very sore muscles (we were definitely too ambitious on our first day), hobbled onto the Camino, and headed north. As we walk, we head directly into the wind with the sunWeiterlesen

ReisenderYou two are no veteran old salt peregrinos with two days of actual experience. I'm beaming from ear to ear seeing your photos and description of people you see.....that's the Camino experience. I too ran into a fair number of Brits, a large number of French since I was on the Camino Frances, and a lot of western Europeans with the occasional eastern European too. I love the idea you can be walking on a trail, but there's then another village a few kilometers down the road. I'm also guessing 3 more days until your cross into Spain....which is not something people often cross borders on foot.
