Relaxing crossing, fleeting view of pod of dolphins, had a chat with the resident whale expert, potential viewing when we cross the continental shelf around 5pm.

Walk around the picturesque seaside town, quiet, looks like the Spanish don’t get going until 11 then stop for their 3 hour lunch at 1….. they’ve got it right. Very very very wet ride to St Luz stopped off for some refreshments and the rain has stopped!!
Traveler All looks good; you both still look happy, hope weather improves . A n C back safely (phone call) had fab time small probs flights coming back and one case missing but the airline know where it is and will be forwarded to them . Chris has jippylvtum since y day.

Mount La Rhune 905 meters

Steady walk up La rhune…. Really humid start, slight overcast but weather cleared for some great views. Close up call with the wild horses,condors soaring overhead and cows wandering around with their bells tinkling along. Restored by hot choc and brioche at the top….. saw the old train at the top walking looked safer….Read more
Traveler The road to the Pyrenees looks rather rocky, and you were at rather an elevation, lovely scenery. Andrew looks very coloured up, and Karen rather good at fuelling station - hot chocolate? Mr O now in residence,snoozing in his bed xx

Arrived early for once, cafe en terrace with a sea view….. high water 07.19. Iron Man race tomorrow a lot of very fit looking people around. Interesting ‘sea walking’ taking place, waist high groups walking parallel to the shore looks a great workout. Shopping in the Halle market great selection of food; bought fresh veg, cheese, goose rillette and duck sausages for tea!Read more
