Day 14 to base of silver pass 14.6 miles

Day started by leaving a fantastic campsite. At the end of the lakes the mountains suddenly end and we dropped off 400 feet over 10 miles. Through forest and following a river. Once we hit the bottom we climbed up 1700 feet dropped 1700 feet and back up 800 to our site. Another nice view for sure. Today we also had smoke from a foothills fire. Won’t bother us but smoke is everywhere. Sun in afternoons is hot so we try to get an early start.もっと詳しく
