Day 20 Tuolumne meadows 6.1 miles

Started around 720 and it was very cold in Lyell canyon. Bundled up and headed to the Tuolumne meadows area. About 6 miles. Rangers helped us and we ended up climbing lambert dome instead of trying for half dome. Great choice and fantastic view. The 6 miles for the hike isn’t in the total above since we had light packs and had already set up camp. We also saw a bear walking back to campsite along with mule deers. Very cool! Spent few hours at Tuolumne meadows store and grill. Couple beers and cheeseburger for dinner. First red meat in 3 weeks so shall see how that goes. Great campsite and all new. Bathroom too!
