Day 22 to boundary for valley 9 miles

The morning was cold and we had a heavy dew overnight. All our stuff was wet but not a big problem. Hike started up and we climbed 500 feet. After that all downhill about 3000 feet. We passed by views of the valley half dome and clouds rest that were incredible. Such a wonderful park. We stopped at the trail split to half dome for the night. Lots of trees but very nice campground. Afternoon is similar to yesterday. Relaxing and getting ready for tomorrow. Sitting around at 400 we had a big bear come near campsite. Hard to see in pic but did wander off. Then we started hearing people say hey bear! We nd the hike tomorrow with 7 miles to happy isles!Baca lagi
