    🌋✨ Pompeii: A Glimpse into Ancient Life ✨🏛️

    Once a thriving Roman city, Pompeii was buried under volcanic ash during the catastrophic eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD, claiming the lives of around 2000 people.

    Among the discoveries are the well-preserved brothels, known as "lupanaria." Featuring vivid frescoes and stone beds, these establishments reveal the social dynamics and attitudes toward sexuality in Pompeian society. The presence of explicit artwork also indicates that sex work was a recognized part of urban life.
