Back to Inversnaid on a dullish but calm morning- and no midges😊. Both hobbling for some time but soon got into the swing of the ups and downs of the Lochside. Very beautiful. Past several walkers and onwards to Beinglas farm for refreshments. The views open up from here and we followed the river past the falls of Dochart. Not a lot of water. Then upwards in good tracks through the forest. Both using a pole today. Maybe 2 tomorrow! Back to road to an awaiting Ollie and onwards to Tyndrum.Read more
TravelerThe first part is tricky with lots of crossing roots but beautiful all the same. We stayed at Ardlui so had to raise the flag to get across. Fred McAuley was doing it at the same time and appeared at the Drovers that night. Unknowingly it was being filmed by ITV and we appeared on the tele just before midnight on hogmanay with me being embarrassed about 50 shades of grey. Met Tam and Isa at the flag in pouring rain.
