LEJOG day 50🎉 North Kessock

Set off from our lovely forestry parking up spot in a still and promising day. Sun from the outset if still a little chilly. Along paths and wee road through blanket bog land with nodding big cotton. Views over to Ben Wyvis. Then down through the forest. A deer seen. And then the sight of Inverness. Stopped on outskirts to refuel then along the canal and river up to the castle, which is completely under wraps for renovation 😟. Now on the John O’Groats trail all the way😊. Crossed the Kessock bridge- a big milestone. And stopped after a lovely short day 16.4 miles😂. (The flower is a speedwell- we pass lots!)Lue lisää
