North West Scotland

Our path continues northwards through the Scottish Highlands, along the famous NC500 route. As we get closer to the north coast, the mountains finally retreat and the steep coastline becomes dotted with a few beaches. The sand is white, and the water is clear.....but very cold. 8C is our estimate, about the same temperature as the air. Not swimming weather!
