• Edging Further North

    As we keep heading north, our Norway ferry-crossing total has reached 20, and the scenery is no less spectacular. Deep blue fjords and snow capped moutains are around each corner. We overnight and resupply at Alta, which claims to be the world's Northern-most city. It's a worthy claim, despite the vagueness around the definition of "city". It's certainly a long way North. It also has another spectacular modern church - the Norwegians must be the world leaders in modern church design.Read more
