    Poland's second city, Krakow, managed to avoid the complete destruction suffered by Warsaw in WWII. The city square dates back over 500 years, and it's become a lively, popular destination. We encountered more tourists than we had seen for quite some time. But it was certainly worth visiting, as were the famous underground salt mines to the south of the city.Read more
