Monastery of Dan Martiño Pinario

Perhaps the most ornate, artistically adorned church museum experience of Santiago de Compostela is a visit to the Monastery of San Martiño Pinario, behind the Cathedral. We spent well over an hour in awe of the frescoes, altarpieces, choir stalls, cloisters, sculptures, paintings and artifacts. The nave is huge, with such high vaulted ceilings and windows that pour light in from above, the symbolism was not difficult to see.Baca lagi
