Cycle Free Day

Arose punctually at 7.55am for 8am breakfast of cereal then scrambled eggs etc and lovely cup of coffee. At nominated time reported along with other cyclists on deck to offload cycles and do the days ride. It was a bit chilly. Raymond had decided to stay onbaord for the day so I also did same .. shorfly afterwards Geoff appearedat gangplank and returned to boat. So we all spent day reading, dozing, drinking and just plain relaxing on deck. We passed thru 6 locks and saw lots of villages and farmland. We picked up the other cyclists around 5pm which was 1.5 hours later than expected so we were glad we had not been sitting around with them waiting for the boat!En savoir plus
