Merida

Bus to merida. We got in late afternoon, and took a taxi to our Airbnb, which is very cute and has a pool. As is our habit, we unpacked and then headed out to find groceries. We walked blocks through uninspired streets, finding nothing more than minimarts. Finally we made it to the downtown area and stopped for guacamole and a drink. Then a few more blocks to a bigger soriano store.

We didn't want to walk the mile and a half home, so we Ubered - the streets were packed and loud and chaotic. Our first impression of Merida wasn't very good. Czytaj więcej
