Vila Velha de Ródão

Lovely little spot right next to the Tagus, where the remains of a 30,000 year old settlement were discovered. Nice aire with all the facilities and a resturant just few meters away. We took a walk along the river looking for the advertised otters, kingfishers and other wildlife but came away without catching a glimpse. As it was the day before Valentine we went for a really nice meal on the evening.
This morning we got chatting to a couple of Brits out here for the first time, nice couple called Elspeth and Jim, before heading further north through Castello Branco to the edge of Penamacor. Czytaj więcej
