Alghero

First we want to see the most scenic road of Sardinia. I have read about it in a travel guide. It begins south of Alghero and should be rocky and steep with little, fine and lonely beaches. After 10 km we are getting disappointed and turn arround. This road was not that breathtaking experience as expected. So we go to the Maria Pia beach which is known as the most beautiful beach of town. And it is! In the evening we go for dinner to the old city. The swordfish in the restaurant in the city center is not that good but expensiv. After having a last coffee and icecream we return to our apartment.

Zuerst wollen wir die landschaftlich reizvollste Straße Sardiniens erkunden. Ich habe in einem Reiseführer davon gelesen. Sie beginnt südlich von Alghero und soll felsig und steil sein und kleine, feine und einsame Strände bieten. Nach 10 km sind wir enttäuscht und kehren um. Diese Straße war nicht so atemberaubend wie erwartet. Also fahren wir zum Strand Maria Pia, der als der schönste der Stadt gilt. Und das ist er auch! Abends gehen wir zum Abendessen in die Altstadt. Der Schwertfisch im Restaurant im Stadtzentrum ist jetzt nicht so gut, aber teuer. Nach einem letzten Kaffee und einem Eis kehren wir in unser Apartment zurück.Baca selengkapnya
