"July 26

Dear Reids,

All your gifts have been used daily. Thank you so much.

We are staying in a lovely old inn in Rothenburg tonight and will leave tomorrow evening for Weisbaden.

All of us are well, and find traveling by train the most relaxing and best means of seeing Europe. However, our 4 days in the English countryside were enjoyed by car.

London was hot, and it only rained one day in the Cotswolds. We loved England -- people so friendly, and beautiful towns.
