Bus from the airport to our hotel took about 45 minutes, then a proper wander and meal followed by a quick nap. Emphasis on QUICK!

So glad we did this - the 7-step ritual was spectacular: cold plunge > sauna (with a view of the bay) > cold mist refresh > salt scrub > steam room > shower > crowberry juice shot

Wandered the old harbor neighborhood - walked through a flea market, stumbled upon a weekend maritime festival and fish market, and coffee of course.

So much to see! Reykjavík is clean and safe. Our hotel was centrally located so it was easy to walk everywhere and catch a bus right around the corner. Sunset at 11:30 pm (and sunrise at 3:15 am)En savoir plus
