Stayed at the Tasman Hokiday Park while in Christchurch. The sites are very busy and a tight fit. But it has all the facilities you could want.

Excellent afternoon of relaxing in the Adults only pool at Tekapo Springs. Plenty of fun for families as well.
Drove past this quirky little town. The pass was like the last place with sun as the other side of the pass opened up to clouds and cold.
