Auf zum Gipfel des Mondberges

Wir starten früh, um die 800 Stufen zum Gipfel zu . Wir sind die ersten Touristen, viele gehen da sicher nicht hoch, denn es ist sehr anstrengend bei diesen Temperaturen und der hohen Luftfeuchtigkeit. Wir haben es geschafft und blicken auf die Stadt und die umliegenden Karstfelsen. Leider zu diesig und keine klare Sicht. Der Ausblick war trotzdem schön.

Bill hat uns, nach unserem Abstieg, bereits Fahrräder geordert, die am Ausgang auf uns warteten. Wir starten direkt, denn die Verkäufer Mafia ist uns aufdringlich auf den Fersen.

Wir fahren entspannt den Yulong Fluss entlang und genießen den Fahrtwind sowie die herrliche Aussicht. Am Ende unserer Radtour erwartet uns eine einstündige Bambus Floßfahrt auf dem Yulong Fluss. Ein geschulter Blick der Dame auf Bernd und sie wies ihn auf die Waage. Leider sind wir zu schwer für eine romantische Bootstour mit Schwimmweste auf dem Fluss, denn das Höchstgewicht zu zweit beträgt 160 kg, das wir nur um ein Minimales 😂 überschreiten. Wir bestellen uns ein Didi und fahren für 23 ¥ ins Hotel und genießen den Pool, bis Bill uns um 16 h abholt, für eine Scooter Tour zu einem Wasserfall mit Bademöglichkeit.

We start early to get the 800 steps to the summit. We are the first tourists, many of them are certainly not going up there, because it is very exhausting at these temperatures and the high humidity. We did it and look at the city and the surrounding karst rocks. Unfortunately too hazy and not a clear view. The view was still nice.

After our descent, Bill has already ordered bicycles that were waiting for us at the exit. We start directly because the seller Mafia is pushy on our heels. We drive along the Yulong River and enjoy the wind and the wonderful view. At the end of our bike tour, a one-hour bamboo raft trip awaits us on the Yulong River. A trained look from the lady to Bernd and she pointed him to the scales. Unfortunately we are too heavy for a romantic boat tour with a life jacket on the river, because the maximum weight for two is 160 kg, which we only exceed a minimal 😂. We order a Didi and drive to the hotel for ¥ 23 and enjoy the pool until Bill picks us up at 4 p.m., for a scooter tour to a waterfall with a swimming opportunity.Read more
