Victoria Gefängnis

Victoria Prison war das erste Gefängnis mit Polizeistation und Gericht in Hong Kong. Es wurde am 4.8.1841 eröffnet und am 2.3.2006 geschlossen. Nach langen Renovierungsarbeiten wurde es zu einem Museum mit kostenlosem Eintritt sehr authentisch nachgestellt und restauriert.

Umliegende Restaurants und Kneipen laden bei schönem Wetter, mit schattiger Außenbestuhlung, zum Verweilen ein. Wir haben dort leider nicht verweilt, denn es hat nicht nur durchgehend geregnet, sondern es hat geschüttet, wie aus Eimern. ☔️😏

When the weather is nice, the surrounding restaurants and pubs invite you to linger with shady outdoor seating. Unfortunately we didn't stay there, because it not only rained continuously, but it poured like cats and dogs. ☔️😏Read more
