    Mit dem Scooter unterwegs

    Nachdem wir uns am Pool etwas ausgeruht haben, wollte Bill uns mit dem Scooter noch Sehenswertes zeigen. Wir haben die 2 Stunden sehr genossen und unsere Augen konnten sich an dem vielen Grün gar nicht satt sehen. Eine wirklich herrliche Gegend.

    Mit der Seilbahn - by cable car

    Unser vorletzter Ausflug mit Bill geht hoch hinaus. Wir fahren etwa 10 Minuten mit der Bahn bergauf, gehen in 1 Stunde und 5 Minuten, 2,6 km Stufen auf 516 m und wieder ab, überwinden 180 Höhenmeter und ich verbrauche 324 Kalorien bei 29 Grad C und einer 74%-gen Luftfeuchtigkeit. Das Begehen der Glasflächen in schwindelerregender Höhe meistern wir mit Leichtigkeit, Bernd erklärt uns, dass es unmöglich ist, dass das Glas bricht, aber manchmal sagt der Kopf was anderes. 🤓

    Abschluss Rollertour

    Wir haben uns am Krankenhaus mit Bill verabredet zur letzten Rollertour, denn wir müssen das Ergebnis unseres PCR Tests abholen, welchen wir heute morgen gemacht haben und für den Flug nach Shanghai benötigen.

    Danach starten wir in östliche Richtung der Stadt, fahren erneut durch grünes Land, am Fluss entlang und durch ein altes Dorf. Das Dorf wirkt sehr leer, keine Touristen da, die in die Ausflugsdampfer steigen und anschließend einkehren, damit der Lebensunterhalt der Menschen hier gesichert ist. Die Gegend hier lebt fast ausschließlich vom Tourismus und deshalb wundert es uns nicht, dass der Kampf um jeden einzelnen sehr groß ist.

    Unser Guide Bill

    Bill erhält von uns an dieser Stelle eine besonders gute Bewertung. Er hat schnell erfasst, was uns gefallen könnte und was nicht und ist von seinem eigentlichen Plänen auch spontan abgewichen, als wir uns ein bisschen besser kannten. Das Reisen mit ihm war sehr entspannt und abwechslungs-reich. Wir sind froh, dass Lukas ihn uns empfohlen hat und wir empfehlen ihn, an dieser Stelle, gerne weiter. Wer Lust hat versteckte Pfade und wenig Touristen zu begegnen, ist mit Bill bestens bedient. Seine 25-jährige Erfahrung kam uns sehr zu Gute. Wir danken ihm, für 7 unvergessliche Tage, in der er uns seine Heimat näher gebracht hat und unseren Horizont, um ein Vielfaches erweitert hat. Es war atemberaubend schön. Vielen vielen Dank. 🤩

    Fazit

    August 20, 2022 ⋅ ⛅ 34 °C

    Wir sind am Flughafen in Guilin und gleich ist Boarding. Gerade noch so viel Zeit, um die Reise hier zu beenden. Wir haben uns sehr gut erholt, obwohl wir viel unterwegs waren und auch vieles gesehen und entdeckt haben.

    Die Gegend um Guilin und Yangshuo hat ca. 2000 dieser wunderschönen grünen Karstfelsen, Reisfelder und Orangenplantagen sowie Passionsfrüchte, anderes Obst und Gemüse.

    Die Fahrt mit dem Scooter hat uns ein Stück Freiheit geschenkt, die wir vermisst und in diesen Tagen sehr genossen haben. Für uns ist Guilin definitiv eine Reise wert und sollten wir erneut die Möglichkeit haben, kommen wir sehr gerne wieder.

    Das Video habe ich unterwegs zum Flughafen gemacht, wir haben 3 dieser LKWs mit 120 h/km überholt. Alle 3 Fahrzeuge (mit je einem Propeller eines Windrades) waren auf der Autobahn mit 100 h/km unterwegs. Unglaublich, wir hätten gerne gesehen, wohin sie nach der Autobahn gefahren sind. Zum Glück ist nichts passiert.

    So das war’s mal wieder bis zur nächsten Reise.

    We are at the airport in Guilin and boarding is near. Just so much time to end the trip here. We recovered very well, although we were traveling a lot and also saw and discovered a lot. The area around Guilin and Yangshuo has around 2000 of these beautiful green karst rocks, rice fields and orange plantations as well as passion fruits, other fruits and vegetables.

    The ride with the scooter gave us a piece of freedom that we missed and enjoyed very much these days. For us, Guilin is definitely worth a trip and if we have the opportunity again, we will be happy to come back.

    I made the video to the airport on the way, we overtook 3 of these trucks at 120 h / km. All 3 vehicles (each with a propeller of a wind turbine) were traveling on the highway at 100 h / km. Incredible, we would have liked to see where they went after the highway. Fortunately, nothing happened.
