When in Canada, go to a Highland Games..

So the dad of the family I’m staying with at the moment loves everything Scottish and has traced some of his family roots back to Scotland (which Canadian hasn’t?) so we took their kids to the Highland Games in Moncton (in New Brunswick, so another province ticked off!) It was a fun day out especially when the sun came out! It’s funny though that more North American’s know more about their family clans than most Scottish people. They had food vans serving ‘haggis’ burgers and Scotch eggs - I think maybe they need to do some research on their Scottish foods, oops!Les mer
