Papamoa Hills

Great hike 20 minutes south of us. 360 views across the farmlands, back to the Mount, Tauranga city and port. Met a number of people on the way to the summit then had the plateau loop basically to ourselves. Kids back in school now so that makes a difference to the number of ppl around in this tourist area. Could see White Island still pluming in the distance. Lower part of the walk was through clear cut area..it had greened up but lots of stumps and brush. At least that helped the views!Read more
