Day 2 Barcelos to Casa fernanda 20k

Day 2 was a hard day as it was a Sunday their was very little places open therefore we had to walk long distances without stops and we did not meet one other pilgrim along the way we did meet alot of dogs goats lizards and even a snake. We stopped for a very late lunch in restaurant 2000 and my limited portuguese seen a beer put in front of me instead of some wine but it was ice cold and very much welcomed. Once we reached the very popular casa fernanda we soon realised why this is such a popular albergue the kindness and welcome was out of this world. The owner even took us back to the bus station to reach the coastal route again. Sore tired and aching we are ready for day 3.Leer más
