QUEENSTOWN TO CURIO BAY

Sadly, we woke up to the news that the road to Milford Sound was closed and, due to severe weather conditions, was likely to remain closed for the weekend. We had no option but to cancel our night in Te Anau, the gateway to Milford Sound. We also had a boat trip on Milford booked, so we cancelled that too. All refunded, we set off for the Catlins and booked a night on the beach at Curio Bay. A place to possibly see yellow eyed penguins and dolphins 🐬. Waves 20 feet in the air, but no wildlife.En savoir plus
