旅行者It was a lovely welcome, we took the dogs on two walks in the local parks. We saw big orange bats as big as cats hanging in the trees. Big carp coming up for air in the lakes, came home and Ben cooked us an evening meal, it was lovely. We finally gave in and went to bed at 9pm.

Leaving Kaikoura, we headed up to Mouteka on the way we stopped at a seal colony, and we could have stayed for hours watching their antics. They are so many different colours, taking turns to diveもっと詳しく
旅行者WOW what fascinating creatures, sun bathing in the cold and splashing around having so much fun. 🦭 The view from that little cafe looks fabulous, I bet you could have sat there for hours watching the world go by! Buy obviously the excitement of your promised trip awaited you, how many did you try/purchase? Sounds like you enjoyed and it was even better than you imagined Xx
旅行者Oh Lisa it was, only bought 3 though not quite as expensive as in the UK we can’t bring them home so that’s all we can manage to drink. It exhausting all this getting up early and travelling 4/5 miles up and down a mountain. Looking forward to the flat in a few days time.

Off to TAKAKI, I think google maps thinks we are mountain goats as we've climbed up and down mountain roads for 3 days now! Depending into Tekaki we find a fabulous cafe called "The Wholemeal Cafe"もっと詳しく
