Off to Sandaga Market, Dakar

Malick my tour guide picked me up from the hotel and off we went to Dakar a 1hr 30min journey. Lovely road. The express road am told is new and was built about a year ago by the French.

Experienced small traffic as we entered Dakar. Malick bought a portrait of a marabout who died in 1957 along the road, while in holdup, opening the back door for the seller to jump in and negotiate price. He claims the muslim cleric (Marabout) was a very powerful man who used to talk directly to god and never used juju and he is still revered till today because of the things he did.
