Repaired Laptop / Max / Dubai Mall

Picked up the repaired laptop. The repairer complained that the hard disk had bad sectors which had to be replaced claiming it solved the touch pad and keyboard problems. I doubt harddisk can affect quirky touchpad and keyboard but then he might have a case on the hard disk as the kids often don't shut down the laptop but just close the lid and put in the bag which could lead to the drive head damaging the platter as the laptop is moved.Læs mere
