Faulty plane ... returning to Europe

The pilot announced around 16:15 that the ACS (Anti Collision System) of the plane has failed as such we were flying blind and no other aircraft could see us, consequently it was unsafe for us to continue the flight and he will be turning around to take us back to Europe. We eventually landed in Rome at about 18:20

The captained announced that another plane was being sent from Germany to take us back to Frankfurt, but our checked in luggage will remain on board and will be brought over to Frankfurt on another plane
